What does "Words with same base form" mean?

The proposals for words with the same base form are currently based first and foremost on a morphological analysis of classical Latin texts.

The data have been made available by the PERSEUS project.

This analysis is only partially suitable for early modern Latin texts: many words and a number of flexional forms cannot be taken into account appropriately. For this reason, the warning "experimental!" has been added.
